I am planning to take piano lessons and saxophone lessons. My relatives and friends have always said that I have a great ear for music, but I never got around to playing until now. I would like to learn each instrument at a slightly higher than usual rate. To do this, about how many lessons should I take each week? (or month)?
Take two a week. One for piano and one of sax. All my friend who take lessons, take one a week for each instrument they play.

Previous answer is correct. You are not paying a teacher for supervised practice, you must do that your self. Check this sight to develop skills to use your practice time effectively. Good luck.
