I’m a choral student in Hayward, CA looking for cheap piano lessons. Whomever it is needs to be able to beat $14 per half hour and needs to be flexible with my schedule as it completely surrounds my choir’s schedule and being in 9 choirs total makes my schedule immovable.
wow, thats tuff. i live in atl. so i dont know anyone in CA. But i do think that its totally worth it. i have been taking piano since i was 6, and it has helped me in so many ways.

I’d say $14 for a half hour sounds like a pretty good price.
I think finding a piano teacher just takes a lot of legwork. When I found my teacher I started by calling a teacher I knew who referred me to another teacher who referred me to others and so on. You can also call a local music store and ask them for referrals.
The only other place I could think of that would offer cheap piano lessons might be a community ed course.

Just remember that you get what you pay for. $14 sounds a little low to me (been in the business for years), especially for California. Cheap piano teachers usually don’t have the credentials or experience that you would want in somebody you are paying to teach you. You can also visit http://www.musicstaff.com and http://www.privatelessons.com.
Good luck and remember that piano is completely worth it, no matter the price.
