Accomplished bassist Jon E. Gee had a day off before his show at Radio City Music Hall in NYC, so he decided to visit PS 98 in the Manhattan to deliver a bass guitar with Little Kids Rock! Little Kids Rock is a nonprofit org that provides free musical instruments and instruction to public school students who have been left behind due to budget cuts. Little Kids Rock trains and equips public school teachers nationwide in order to restore and revitalize music education in our schools.

how do i tell my violin teacher at school that i want to do the guitar instead?
so i started violin lessons a few weeks ago but im really not enjoying it and ive realized ive made a mistake, i was only taking them cause my dad told me to(since HE wold really like to play the violin) and my friend kept nagging me on to do them with her, but what i really want to do is play the guitar, how dio i tell this to my teacher? im waaaaaaaaaaaaaay tooo shy, i just cant find the guts and courage to tell her, but i dont want to be stuck with something i dont like. right? and what if she gets mad and dissapointed and wont let me do the guitar??!! what do i do , someone please help me and thankyou for reading this, its muchappreciated=]

How long will it take me to learn Piano or Keyboard (already play guitar)?
I already play guitar well and understand theroy/chord construcion. I am not trying to be great or anything…just good enough to play pop and rock songs. I’ll eventually switch off between playing guitar and keys when I play live. I thinking of getting a keyboard with built in lessons. I’ll probaly put in an hour a day.
